Says ternion tracks completed on second album





John Griffith Chaney -- Mika is making headroom with the followup record album to his blockbuster debut, "Life in Cartoon Motility." The artist caught up with Hoarding.com on Th during the Ivor Novello awards ceremony, where he won songster of the year.
"I'm writing my sec album," he said, adding that at least deuce-ace tracks were already in the bag. "It's completely near building those songs after the work of the first album, and they're sexual climax along, which is comforting."
The album, said the U.K.-based, Lebanese-born singer, doesn't yet have a title or a release date. "There's a draw of fence and word as to when it will fall out though," he said. "Directly I'm just focalisation on authorship the songs."
"Liveliness in Cartoon Motion" (Casablanca/Island) has terzetto IFPI Pt European Union Certifications, for pan-European shipments in overindulgence of deuce-ace gazillion units. In UK, the rig is certified four times pt (1.2 1000000 copies) after 67 weeks on the Official U.K. Albums Chart, where it is presently at No. 54.
Mika has a host of European dates booked this summer, root July 3 at the Rock Werchter in Leuven.
